Ann Louise Wagner is a famous American diplomat and Politician currently serving as the United States Representative for Missouri’s 2nd Congressional district. She is a devout Republican and has held the respective seat from 2013 to date.

Prior to working in the United States Congress, Wagner was the United States Ambassador to Luxembourg for a period of four years between 2005 to 2009. Wagner was elected head of the Missouri Republican Party for the first time in 1999, making her the first woman to hold the position.

In addition to her diplomatic duties, Wagner also chaired the Missouri Republican Party from 1999 through to 2005, as well as co-chairing the Republican National Committee for four years beginning in 2001.

During her six years as chairperson, George W. Bush carried Missouri in both of his presidential attempts, and the Republican Party also captured a majority of the state’s congressional delegation.

Wagner was among the 126 Republicans of the House of Representatives to sign an amicus brief in support of Texas v.
